River City High School’s Girls’ Soccer Program has become one of the most successful sports teams at River City. Since 2015 the team has won the league title 4 years straight and 5 out of 6 years. In 2018 the program won its first Sac Joaquin Section Title in school history and qualified for the NorCal Regional Tournament. Also in 2018 the program was provided one training session by the Scotland National team Captain and Utah Royal player Rachel Corsie. This program is more than just about playing soccer. It is about life lessons and how to commit yourself. It teaches these girls commitment, importance of school work, dedication, team work, family values, hard work, sportsmanship and working together as a whole. The program has sent girls to play at the collegiate level. We are more than a team, we are a family. Once you play for this program you are forever an RC Girls Soccer Player.
