  1. Deescalate Conflict -conflict resolution
  2. Self-Protection-Prevent serious injury
  3. Stop Assault-Distract, Disable, Restrain
  4. Escape-Clear the area

Blocks

Startle Flinch-what your body does naturally to protect head and neck (ex. walking into a spider web)
 
Guard-using forearms and hands to purposely protect head and neck
 
Forearm Blocks-use forearms to deflect strikes from an attacker
High Block-
Side Block- (muscle block)
Low Block-
 
Leg/Shin Block-use shin to deflect kicks, knees or guard side.
