A Krav Maga, self defense class will take place on March 17th after mid terms from 1-3pm. This event will take place at RCHS High School in the F commons. It is a rotary sponsored event promoting self awareness and student safety. This event is available to the first 50 girls who have completed and turned in a waiver. Stop by Early and Late lunch interact club meeting on Monday, March 13th to grab a waiver! This event is open to the entire campus.
It is Spring! The River City Interact club is preparing for the Spring Carnival event with the West Sacramento Recreation Center on April 15th. It will be held on April 15th at the West Sacramento Rec Center.There will facepainting, crafts, games, and memories in the making. Interactors are to arrive at the Rec Center on 2801 Jefferson Blvd. at 11 a.m. The event lasts until 2 p.m..
On March 12th, interactors will volunteered at the Shamrock N' Half Marathon on St. Patrick's Day. We will give our support and manage the water stations for the participants.
The event for Blankets with Love has closed to an end with the ending of winter. Thank you to all those who participated in these events for "walking your talk."
We are still continuing Reading Buddies at the Yolo County Turner Library. It is a weekly event on Mondays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the teen center at Arthur F. Turner Community Library.
