DON BROWN

Welcome to my Physical Education website.  A little about myself.  I am starting my 30th year of teaching physical education.  I spent 18 years at Golden State/Riverbank and I am starting my 10th year here at River City.

I have two wonderful girls, my oldest, Aleisha, is married living in Redding California, and my youngest, Sarah, is entering her sophomore year at Charleston Southern University in South Carolina on a softball scholarship.     

I have coached girls volleyball, basketball, soccer, and softball and spent 18 years coaching boys high school baseball and football.  Today, I have retired from coaching and became a fan of the game of softball.  My hobbies are fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

1.  Never leave class without permission

2.  One person speaks at a time.  Raise hand to talk

3.  Keep hands and feet to self unless instructed

4.  Take care of all equipment

5.  No electronics allowed in class

Late work will be accepted one week from the due date.  In class work will be accepted one week for time it is collected.  Assignments will turn into a zero after one week from due date.

Option 1:  Run as much as you can at the same speed for all four laps

Option 2:  Run the straights and walk the curves of the track

Option 3:  Run when you get to a green cone, walk when you get to a red cone

Option 4:  Run 50 steps, then walk 50 steps.  Repeat for four laps
