CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS HEALTH

Each day students will be assigned  work to be completed in class.  These assignments are worth 10pts each.  Should a student be absent for one or more days that student is responsible for getting the assignments missed.
 
All worksheets assigned will be kept in the back of the classroom in a file folders.  Should a student miss or lose one of these assignments they can take the missed assignment from the folder and get another student to help them with the answers...
 
All Health related assignments will be collected bi-weekly.  It is the responsiblility of the student to get any notes or worksheets from the folder in the back of the room, and get help from another student who was in attendance the day missed to complete the assignments.  * All notes will be allowed to be used on the Final Exam.

WEIGHT TRAINING - FALL TERM

This week work on folder charts and worksheet completion.  Folders will be checked next week on Wednesday.  Should have the following charts and sheets filled out and in the following order.  1- Body Measurements 2- BMI sheet with your personal BMI 3- Power Assessment Chart with your personal scores. 4- Personal Best Sheet with goals and weights  5- Ideal Body Measurement worksheet completed.

JOURNAL QUESTIONS

Journal Questions   will be due bi-weekly at the end of class each Friday.  Questions turned in the following Monday or Tuesday will be considered late with 25% penalty unless you were absent.  Journal Questions will not be accepted more than three days after the due date.

Badminton Unit 10/22
Review Forehand, Backhand, Drop and Clear shots.
Review parts of the raquet, court lines, boundaries, and rules of rally scoring.
Warm-up drills – raquet control…
Disperse class to practice the rally and shots.Gather class and equipment and dismiss class to dress.  
 
Unit 10/23
Gather class in roll  call order and begin the lesson for the day.
Review muscles with entire class explain how we will be learning major muscles that make up the human body.
Warm up drills, then disperse class to practice.
Gather class,secure equipment and review briefly and dismiss class to dress.
                                                                           
 Badminton 
Gather class in roll  call order and begin the lesson for the day. Review muscle of the day “Tricep”
Learn proper fundamentals of the smash… Practice in supervised groups.  
Warm up drills, then disperse class to practice their shots and rally.
Gather class,secure equipment and review briefly and dismiss class to dress. 
Bandminton Unit 10/25
Gather class in roll  call order and begin the lesson for the day.
Begin with warm up instruction on parts of the court. Sit class down to complete assignment #2 assisnment in lab manual.
Sit in roll call order collect papers- quickly review muscle of the day. 
Dispurse class to assigned courts for tournament play. Half was thru gather record results and assign game #2 for the day.
Gather class,secure equipment and review briefly and dismiss class to dress. 
Badminton 10/26
Gather class in roll  call order and begin the lesson for the day.
Review muscle of the day.
Explain and demonstrate the roundhouse overhead smash / drive.
Gather and assign tournament game #1 for the day...  Gather half way thru class and record scores from game #1 and assign and dispurse to play game #2.
Gather class,record scores, collect  equipment and review briefly and dismiss class to dress.
