Stress Management

Introducing Mental Health Minute

Introducing Mental Health Minute

Hey Raiders - we know quarantine, stay-at-home orders and virtual school can feel very stressful and isolating. To help you manage your stress, we're working on a series of short videos to give you more information about how stress works in your brain and tips on how to manage feelings of stress, anxious feelings, and the feeling of being overwhelmed. We'll post 1 video a week (or so, they take awhile to create) so check back often for more info. If you have a topic or a tip you would like discussed, please email Ms Rodgers at jrodgers@wusd.k12.ca.us

These videos can help you add to your toolkit of coping strategies. But if you are still struggling, please reach out to your counselor, Admin, or teachers so we can connect you with additional resources and support. Your mental health matters!

If you are having intrusive thoughts or thoughts of self harm, please call 800-273-8255 or text HOME to 741741 to get immediate help.
