Each season we honor our Senior athletes for the commitment. Due to the COVID 19 shutdown, we were unable to honor them the way we traditionally do. Here are the video tributes to all the Senior Athletes who completed their Senior Athlete Survey.
Each year the CIF- SJS awards recipients the Dale Lackey Scholarship. There are various levels of awards granted to student for their academic and athletic excellence. This year Anna Grexton was awarded a $500 scholarship for her outstanding accomplishments. Here is the bio posted on the CIF SJS site:
ANNA GREXTON (River City) – Anna threw for the track and field team for four years and
played soccer for three years. In track and field, she was her team MVP in the field events for
three years and advanced to the Section championships twice. In soccer, she received the Team
Player Award once. She’s on the Principal’s Honor Roll and won awards for Honor Band; this
year, she received the Outstanding Musician Award. She’s the president of three different school
clubs. She’s a member of Interact Club (community service) and Link Crew and volunteers with
Out of the Box Ministries. Anna has a 4.37 GPA, which is No. 12 in her class of 461.She plans on
attending Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, where she’ll major in kinesiology with the future goal of
becoming a sports physician

On behalf of the River City athletic department, we would like to congratulate Michelle Kamyshin for her 3rd place finish in the California State Finals this past weekend. This is the highest finish of any wrestler in school history. We are so proud of you Michelle!

Parents of Student Athletes Who Have Not Attended A Meeting During the 2019-2020 School Year
On Wednesday, March 4th, River City will be hosting its second spring sports Parent- Student Athlete Handbook meeting at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. Parents are required to attend one of these meetings each year. The meeting will take place from 5:30-6:15. This is the last meeting of the spring. Parents will be required to make an appointment and come in during school hours to complete handbook requirement.

Parents are required to attend this meeting annually. in this meeting, the athletic director will go over the expectations, rules, regulations, and procedures of the River City athletic department.

The River City Lady Raiders Soccer program will be taking on Lincoln of Stockton in the 1st Round of the CIF San Joaquin Section Playoffs on Wednesday, Feb 19, at 6PM. We will be charging admission at this game. Prices are as followed:
