Unit 4 Mock Trial
WELCOME JURORS -- PARENTS AND TEACHERS!
WELCOME JURORS -- PARENTS AND TEACHERS!
Parents/guardians:
For my Criminal Law class final exam, students perform a Mock Trial. I invite teachers, administrators, parents, and grandparents to serve as jurors/scorers for the event, and their presence always makes for a better performance and students really appreciate the involvement.
Since there are so many students in the class, I’ve divided the class into four teams (two prosecution and two defense) and will be running the trial twice. Please check with your student for their trial date.
Trial A (during Senior Finals) will be held on Thursday, May 26 during the regular 4th period (2:07-3:37)
Trial B will be held during the final exam time for Period 4 - Wednesday, June 1 from 8:35-10:52.
This spring's case is People v Davidson, a murder case. You can read the case brief here:
Please contact me to let me know if you'd like to participate.
