GRADUATE DRESS CODE

• Women – dress or skirt (or dress pants) and blouse, and dress shoes.
• Men – dress slacks, dress shirts, tie and dress shoes.
• For all – The following items are NOT acceptable regardless of color, style, newness or cost:  Jeans, tennis shoes, shorts, bathing suits, t-shirts.  Any senior who has a question about appropriate dress should contact an administrator.  Proper dress will be checked as students line up for the ceremony.
• All school rules with regard to “flashing” colors will be enforced.

 AT THE FIELD

All guests must sit in the stands.There will be seating for handicapped guests, who may bring one other person with them to the handicapped seating area. Parents/guests will not be permitted on the field for any reason. In the past, we have had parents who have come on to the field to attempt to take pictures. Please rest assured that photos of the graduates getting their diplomas will be taken. Parents/guests who attempt to access the field will be asked to return to their seats and may be asked to leave the field entirely.

 DECORUM

We wish the ceremony to be dignified and respectful. Toward this end, students may not decorate their robe or mortar. Inflatable items, balloons, and noise-makers are strictly prohibited at the stadium by both graduates and guests. Cell phones on the field are prohibited.
