¡Hola! Soy Elisa Nieves, I am a Sacramento native who comes from a Spanish/American family. I grew up traveling almost every summer to Spain to visit extended family and these experiences led to my decision and passion to become a teacher of the Spanish language and culture. I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, learning about new cultures, and experiencing the beauties that life has to offer.
I graduated from University of California, Davis and earned my single-subject teaching credential at Sacramento State University. I am proud to have joined the River City High School Raiders in August 2016 and look forward to teaching language to the students of RCHS! Go Raiders!
