My name is Martina Guerra (Arenas), and I am very excited to be one of the four Assistant Principals this school year! I have been part of Washington Unified School District for the past 15 years and had the honor to work at different school sites and built many relationships with staff, parents, and students in our community. During my time here at WUSD, I have served as a Bilingual Teacher, Instructional Coach, Teacher on Special Assignment for K- 8th, BTSA Program Specialist as well as overseeing our after school programs (Club West and Kid Zone). In addition, Summer school principal as well as Assistant Principal at Westfield Village Elementary and Yolo High School. All of these positions have given me a wealth of experience, yet most importantly the opportunity to see students succeed to their fullest potential to be college and career ready.
I look forward in meeting you all!
