Community Service

Community Service Requirement

8 hours per year

Must do all 8 hours at the same place

Must be completed with a non-profit organization

Complete all paperwork and hours by deadline

Another Community Service Opportunity!

This Sunday, July 28th starting at 9am is the Pear Fair in Courtland, just a 1/2 hour or so south of West Sacramento. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities that you could use towards your CS 2013-14 hours. Remember you need 8 hours of CS every year. The Pear Fair is an excellent way to earn those hours!

http://pearfair.org

Bonus points if you're in my class next year and I see you at the fair!!!!

Community Service Opportunities for 2013-14

Hello students!

Remember how I always tell you about the cool fun runs that are around the Sacramento area? Well, here are a couple you should sign up for and/or volunteer with. If you want to volunteer for your 2013-14 community service hours, contact the organizations below and find out if they're offering 8 hours of service. Then find out the details about volunteering (age you need to be, parent permission, opportunities, etc.).
