Math Help

Mr. Frantz is available before school most days and after school on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays for students that need help or have questions.

There are also other math teachers that are available for all students after school as part of the Academic Outreach program.  The schedule is on the Math Department page.

About Mr. Frantz

Alan Frantz is the Mathematics Department Chair and currently teaches Integrated Math 2.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics at California State University Sacramento in 2006.  He began teaching at River City High School in the fall of that year.  He later earned a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at University of the Pacific in 2010.

In his eleven years at River City, Mr. Frantz has taught many math courses, including Integrated Math 2, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Statistics.
