Special Education at River City High School is integrated. We have eight special education teachers, six paraeducators, and a workability coach to serve over 150 students with special needs. Special education students at RCHS attend some classes with general education students and participate in all aspects of campus life including sports, clubs, and community service. Some special education students are working toward a diploma while most are working toward a certificate of completion (moderate/severe disabilities) or a certificate of achievement (mild/moderate disabilities).
