On Saturday February 4th, 2012, SkillsUSA held a regional Competition at American River College from 7:30pm to 4:30 pm. The River City Engineering and Science Academy Students took part in the Electronics Competition
The contest was divided into five sections: customer service exam, written exam, soldering, bread boarding and troubleshooting. Contestants' will demonstrate their knowledge of analog and digital circuitry; ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits; ability to construct and test experimental circuits; and, ability to design and select circuit components. All aspects of the competition test contestants' abilities to use and calibrate electronic equipment, record and organize data, and demonstrate proper safety practices.
I am Proud to announce that Mykyta Zainchevsky, Shivani Kumar, Yunuen Rodriguez won the GOLD MEDAL and Sergey Makhyanov and Uvaldo Perez won the Silver Medal. GO ACADEMY
