RCHS Productions and River City Choirs presents the The Haunted House & Family Fair, October 20, 21, 27, 28 from 7pm to 8:30pm in the River City Black Box Theatre. Admission $3 or 2 for $5. Spooky Scenes and Creative Crafts for the whole family!






The first meeting of the Mock Trial team will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 3:30pm in Room 851. We will distribute copies of the case packet, explain the basics of being on the team and the nature of the competition, and take sign-ups for those who wish to try out. Students interested in the law, law enforcement, public speaking and debate, and performance and acting should consider trying out. Any student in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend. Where will it be taken:  RCHS…Rm. TBA

How do I Register:  Sophomores are automatically registered and Juniors who

want to take the PSAT need to see the bookkeeper by Oct. 13th to register


A Cash for College workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 18th from 6 to 8pm in the Commons room of the F (Math) Building. Senior students and parents/guardians are encouraged to attend to get help with the FAFSA, Dream Act, or Chafee Grant applications. Students will need to bring the following information and documents to complete one of the applications:

  • Student’s Social Security card and driver license or government issued ID (if available)
  • Parent’s Social Security card (if available)
  • Parent’s federal income tax return from tax year 2016
  • Records of untaxed income such as child support, TANF, interest income, veterans non-education benefits, Social Security benefits
  • Student’s 2016 federal income tax return, or evidence of income earned (W-2 form or pay records)
  • Bank account records or statements
  • Records of stocks, bonds or investments
