  • Want to play basketball during lunch?  The gym will be open the last 15 minutes of lunch during both early and late lunch, so students can play basketball.  No food is allowed in the gym during lunch, so please throw your trash away before going into the gym.
  • Have a friend who doesn’t go to River City, but wants to attend the Homecoming dance?  Pick up a guest pass in the AP’s office for them to come.
  • Homecoming tickets are no on sale at the student store!!  $12 with ASB, $15 without ASB and $20 at the door.
  • Empower Yolo is teaming up with RCHS to provide our students with a workshop on promoting healthy dating relationships.  The workshop will help students learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.  We invite all students interested in attending this workshop to pick up a permission slip in the AP office and attend the workshop during 2nd period on September 29th.
  • CSUS is hosting their Education Fair Sunday, October 1st from 10-3PM.  See Mrs. De La Torre in the Career Center to sign up.
  • All lunch forms MUST be turned in by October 1st or you go to paid status $2.60 per meal.
  • PSAT on October 25th will be free to all students.  Anyone that is not a sophomore that is interested sign up with the bookkeeper.  





  • Interested in improving your SAT scores for college?  Join SAT Prep Club every Wednesday at lunch and after school in room 605. 
  • Want to make a difference in the community and get service hours?  Come to the Interact Meeting Monday in room 360 both lunches.

  • Anyone interested in playing rugby this year needs to see Coach Forman in room 307 to get on the contact list.  There will be information going out soon about the upcoming season, training and meetings.  Sign up in order to be informed.
