  • Today’s Native American Heritage Month fact: There are 296 spoken or formerly spoken Indigenous languages in the United States. They are broken into 29 family groups. The most common being Na-Dene, Algic, and Uto-Aztecan.
  • Students interested in attending California State University, Chico please sign up in the Career Center prior to November 18.
  • The Fall dance show is next week on Wednesday the 20th and Thursday the 21st. The show is located in the gym starting at 6:30 PM. The doors will open at 6. The tickets are $6 for students and staff. Hope to see you there! 
  • RC’s Got Talent is right around the corner. Auditions will be November 11 -18. Auditions will be held during both lunches in H commons. Come and participate for a chance to win and don’t be afraid to show River City what you’ve got!
  • Academic Outreach meets after school today in the cafeteria.
  • Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, will be visiting River City on Monday, November 18th from 12-2pm in the Career Center. All students are welcome, please sign up in the Career Center, space is limited. 
  • Leadership applications are due today in H Commons to Mrs. Flores.
  • Nearly 5 million Americans need a blood transfusion each year. Save a life. Give blood. Sign up for RCHS’ Blood Drive during both lunches all week by the cafeteria.
  • Dear Faculty, Please release the boys varsity soccer team at 12:45 today for their away scrimmage at West Campus. Rosters have been emailed to you for verification. Please release all JV Boys' soccer players @230pm for their game against Hiram Johnson West Campus.Thank you, Coach Mizner.
  • The Legacy Project meets after school today in room 203.
