ANNOUNCEMENTS:
 
  • Nominate your friends for homecoming during both lunches until Thursday, January 16.
  • Homecoming tickets are now being sold in the Student Store during early and late lunch for $15.
  • Guest dance pass are due Wednesday, January 22nd by the end of the school day.
  • Freshmen stop by the student store to buy your class shirt.  Represent the class of 2023!
  • Interested in going to college and earning your degree without going into debt? Would you like to gain valuable skills all while attending college? The US Army will be here on January 29 in room 651 to discuss opportunities for your success. See Sona in the Career Center to sign up.
  • Native American Education Students: if you are interested in submitting work for a regional Native American art show, please see Ms. Moreno in 204 ASAP.
  • RCHS Productions is holding open auditions for the spring musical “Into the Woods” after school TODAY from 4-6pm in the Studio Theatre. See Mr. Hanks or Ms. Cristman for more information.
  • There is still space to register for the African American Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 1st. To register: see your counselor to sign up or the River City website.
  • Students, you will be added to the No Go List for excessive behavioral referrals and/or unexcused absences. This means you will be unable to attend extracurricular activities which include the Winter Dance and basketball games. 
  • There will be an Admissions Rep from UC Santa Cruz visiting the Career Center to answer your questions from 9 – 9:45 am on February 3, 2020.
  • "Attention sophomores and juniors: Do you want to help at Freshmen Orientation? Do you need makeup service learning hours? Sign up for link crew with Mrs. Spivey in room 607 or Mrs. Forman in room 307 - - applications are due in March"

  • Rugby season is starting: If interested, see Coach Forman in room 207. No experience necessary. Anyone can play!
  • Softball conditioning starts January 21st after school.
  • Boys Frosh Soccer at Rio Americano at 3:30 pm.
  • Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball at Monterey Trail beginning at 6:00 pm.
  • Swimmers, don't forget we have weight room today at 3:45. See you there!
